Florida Substation Services
We have built and shipped substation parts from Palm Harbor since 1982, and our crews work sites the length of the state. Southern Switch & Contacts is a Florida Municipal Electric Association member and approved vendor, so municipals can bring us in without a long qualification fight.
Florida utilities run equipment that the original makers walked away from years ago. We machine the contacts, the moving and stationary assemblies, the collector rings, and the gear operators to OEM spec, then our field crews can install and test them. One source for the part and the hands that put it in.
When a switch or a breaker goes down in summer load, the clock matters. We keep lead times short and we answer the phone. For storm season, our 24/7 emergency response covers the state.
